Climate change is reshaping our world in profound and often invisible ways. As temperatures rise and extreme weather events become more frequent, understanding the real impact on our communities has never been more crucial. In collaboration with OASE Rotterdam – lab for a fair and sustainable city – we welcome R. Jisung Park, one of the world’s sharpest thinkers on the effects and economics of global warming.

Through groundbreaking research and data analysis, R. Jisung Park reveals how climate change acts as a silent amplifier of inequality, affecting everything from workplace productivity to educational outcomes. His work shifts our focus from distant catastrophic scenarios to the immediate, tangible impacts that are already reshaping our communities. Rather than viewing climate change solely as an impending disaster, Park encourages us to understand it as a current reality that demands local, practical solutions.

During this evening at OASE in Rotterdam, we’ll dive deep into the hidden costs of our warming world and explore concrete steps that can be taken at both individual and community levels. Park will share insights from his latest book and engage in a discussion about how climate change intersects with social and economic institutions.

Join us on March 25th for this crucial conversation about one of the most pressing challenges of our time. The evening will include a lecture by R. Jisung Park, followed by an in-depth discussion with the audience.
