Ece Temelkuran
On Rebuilding Home
Across the world, the number of refugees and exiles, the dispossessed and displaced, the politically homeless and the economically excluded is growing. In the years since leaving her home country, Turkish writer and political thinker Ece Temelkuran has been a political Cassandra, warning the West about the rise of fascism and exploring what it means to be cast out, to be unhomed.
On 29 October, an after-talk with Ece Temelkuran will take place at moezeum, following Do You Remember?, the fourth New Radicalisms Biennial, which runs from 24 to 27 September. Her latest book, Nation of Strangers, published in February 2026, will serve as the starting point for a discussion on global displacement, political exile, and what it means to lose one’s home in the 21st century.
This event can be attended separately or in combination with the New Radicalisms Biennial. Biennial ticket holders can select the reduced ticket option (€10,-) in our ticket shop.
